Oh Wait!! One more :0)

Hello,
So this is the little guy I wanted to share with you, as stated in my previous post. These are wonderful WIP pics of Jorja Pigotts "Asriel" sculpt. When I saw this baby's face, he instantly had me saying "Awwwhh". I have to have him! The detailing on this baby is a painting dream!! I love everything about him, his eyes, lips, limbs..... Jorja Pigott has done a beautiful job with sculpting him. This was all determined for me before seeing the real Asriel. The likeness is striking ;0) If I cant have the silicone for myself I definitely have to make the vinyl version for myself and one for you! LOL. Take a look at this little handsome fellow:

Thank you Jorja for allowing me to use your pics :0)

Jamie D. Project :0)

Hello,

This little girl has been a long work in progress :0) I have to give Jamie a special thank you for asking me to participate in her New York art exhibit project! I had the opportunity to meet Jamie at DEDS 2013 this past summer. She was the photographer for the awards presentation and the show in general. We both discovered that we happen to live in the same state and work for the same establishment. Talk about coincidences!! Well any hoo I really appreciate all of her patience in waiting for my baby and all of the other participants as well. She is such a sweet person.
Well needless to say I delivered my "Amy" by Sandy Faber now Jasmine Fiona to her personally. She loved her! I can't wait to see her exhibit, with all of the beautiful babies!

Well here's a little "Peek a Boo" at her. I will be listing her once I receive her back from Jamie's photo shoot and begin my own shoot for her :0)

Spiritual Meditation...

Hi Everyone :0)

Sorry for such a long break! but it was oh so necessary :0)

I just want to share a few things with everyone. I received a totally unexpected gift today. There was no previous message or correspondence that I would be receiving anything from this beautiful soul. By which I mean I had no idea that I would be receiving a parcel in the mail. I am not going to go into what I received because that will be revealed later. All I can say is that it astounds me how the Lord works sometimes :0)

I am a very spiritual person, I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and give him all the praise and honor. God is good all the time and blesses those who trust in him always. I have truly struggled with my decision about this hobby and whether or not I should continue painting. Sometimes you can get so involved in an activity and shift your focus off of what is most important. Right now my relationship with the heavenly father takes priority in my life and I will always revolve everything else around him.

I guess he gave me my answer today and what I have learned is that it’s okay to feel passionate about my hobby.

I have also asked the Lord for forgiveness, and asked Him to help me learn how to recognize what decisions are best for my life and give me the strength to make those decisions going forward. The one thing that I have never made the mistake and know with all my heart is that my art work is his gift to me. I hope I am reaching some fellow Christians out there. I hope this is helpful to anyone who takes the time to read this entry.

Ethnic AA Biracial "Angel" Prototype by Olga Auer

Yay!

I can finally share! I have been holding it in for a while :0) It has taken me a while to finish this little girl. Olga is sooo talented she is a, another one of my favorite sculptors! This baby was sculpted after her newborn son, so adorable. If you did not did not preorder this sculpt, you truly missed out. This kit is very realistic! I hope you all like her. She will be going to ebay hopefully some time tonight, so please keep a look out :0)

"Nadia Kiersten"

Stay blessed and hope you had a great holiday weekend :0)

Pre-Order Shopping Again!

Hi,

It has been a while since I last posted. I would like to discuss two topics first. I have come across one of the most adorable sculpts "Nicky" by Crista Goetzen a new talented artist. I am not sure if this sculpt is being sold by our US vendors and surely am not waiting around to see. This sculpt is a LE of 500 so I made sure I purchased mine :0) Silvia Ezquerra of "Silvia Creations" has so graciously allowed me to use her prototype picture of "Nicky". I am a huge fan of Silvia's work. Her babies are gorgeous and so realistic! Here is a pic of her prototype "Nicky":

Is she not precious or what? Silvia has also reborned a few of my favorite prototypes which were just recently released. All stunning by the way, such as her "Will" by Natalie Scholl and "Angel" by Olga Auer. Which brings me to my second topic, my latest project which I have been working the remainder of my summer on! My ethnic AA Prototype of "Angel". She will be in a separate post!

Let Me get One thing Straight

I don't do well with drama.

Let me start off by saying how angry I am right now. To all who may not know, I am not about to play any games with this issue. There was a post on http://www.realreborn.com/, (its under " I love her work but....") about a fellow artist. This artist had a doll listed on eBay. Most of the comments stated about their distaste for her price range. There was one member who erroneously posted about seeing the artist and receiving a business card at the  doll show and how she had a table with eight dolls. Instead of this person or persons owning up to the fact that they made the mistake of assuming I was this artist. They insinuated that someone was passing out her business card or a card with her name on it.

For one thing my picture is on my blog and we look nothing alike. I am very comfortable with who I am and what I do as an artist.  I have never and would never perpetrate to be someone else period let alone just to sale a doll. I am an honest person and do not need to use someone elses name to do anything in my life. I try to live my life as a christian and let God guide everything I do. My babies sell well enough on their own with being Nisha. Even if they don't sell this is a hobby to me not my lively hood. I enjoy what I do without all the "extraness"! I am 37 yrs old and well beyond this pettiness.  The only reason I feel like I have to respond to this is because my name is all mixed up in a post that should have had nothing to do with me. I think anyone who has met me at the show and in person could vouch for me that I came as Nisha Crockett and not to pretend to be someone else. My cards have "Tanisha Brianna Crockett" and my contact info.

I just have to say, I am not in the business of promoting any one elses name or business but my own Tanisha Brianna Crockett of Sweetface Beauties Boutique. Who thinks like that ? Better yet, why would anyone be that self important to think that way? The other thing I wanted to say was I never said anything about this artist in the post on the REAL forum because I was being respectful and trying to clear up why I was even mentioned in the posting and why there was  misinformation about me. I could care less about any opinions on her dolls. I would also like to see these supposed business cards that were allegedly given out at the show?

WIP Ethnic AA Blasian "Wai Ling" Prototype by Laura Tuzio Ross !!!!

Hello,

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday !

Let me start off by saying Mrs Laura is the business!!!!!!! I loooooove her babies!!!!! She has an  extraordinary talent for creating the prettiest babies. We have shared this in conversation, we both love creating the prettiest babies. She has that skill down to a "T".

Every single time I have made one of her babies, my husband says," Ooh that baby is so pretty or cute". Trust me he is no doll lover but, there is definitely something about Laura's babies that draw him in. Not to mention he wanted to keep the "Lil Champ" prototype !!! He was another cutie pie of mine :0) Well I have been busy with this little Missy, snapping pics through out the day :0) Some of the photos are a little dark. This is just a little Peek a Boo at her.....

Hugs :0)

*****On Hold Until Further Notice***** Introducing My Trial Run for "Baby on a Budget" Line

Hi All,

I have been tossing around an idea.....

Well, I actually had posted this idea on Facebook a few months ago. I am toying with the idea of taking a couple of custom orders for the $875 (price range) + $25 for shipping. I am trying to keep the cost down (half the price of what my premium LE babies cost). New mommies will have the choice of choosing a kit, hair, and eye color from the "Bountiful Baby" store online. I will only be taking orders for babies 18' to 21' inches. Of course these babies will not have as much detailing as my premium reborn babies , but will still be beautiful all in all! Remember, I am trying to keep the cost down for mommies who are on a budget. This idea was already in the works, but I felt like I really should offer this deal to all mommies who would like  to adopt one of of my babies.

I will tell you why I chose to do this: first reason, I had a fellow artist contact me about customers who wanted her to make replicas of my dolls. Let me start off by explaining, each and every artist has unique artistic abilities that cannot be replicated by someone else. I also can honestly say that it is difficult and not my preference to make replicas of babies that have been created by me previously or anyone else because all of my babies are unique in their own way. I can't stand to see the same doll made over and over again, it gets so boring.

I think that is one reason why if there is a sculpt just released I have no desire to create them right away. No pun intended to other artist who like to do that. Unless I am doing the prototype. LOL. I guess I like to let my mind marinate with what I want to do with the sculpt.  I know some artist also write down their steps, which I do not do. That takes all of the enjoyment out of the creation (for me). I always say if it requires too much work then it is not considered "fun". So I like to let the sculpts take on their own personalities throughout my reborning process. Yes, just like they have their own DNA. So, for any artist to try to replicate someone elses work would be "challenging".

Some might ask why the $850 range, that is still a little pricey? Well for me, it is about my time and dedication to my art form. Anyone can throw some paint on a doll kit and put it up for sale. Me, I truly take my time and paint with my heart.  The second reason is, I NEED and repeat NEED for my babies to go to homes where they will be well taken care of. If anyone is willing to spend this kind of money it will not be considered a toy and should not be. All of my creations are considered a piece of art. That happened to me once about two years ago and I have vowed for it to never let it happen again. Never mind Talia Monae was very angry about it..... My number one goal since the beginning has been to create the most beautiful realistic Ethnic/ African American babies through my eyes :0)

So therefore I will be listing two auction availabilities at this time. Please take the time to review this website to choose your babies, you do not have to stick with the pics that will be pictured in my auction. Here is the website: http://www.bountifulbaby.com/. Yes, all of the kits shown in the Gallery can be reborned as an AA baby.  Again this site was chosen because the sculpts and eyes are the most reasonably priced for a custom auction in this price range. I will also be happy to assist you with your choices. Oh and the kits are subject to availability The price is nonnegotiable, so please respect this opportunity. Layaway will be available, just $250 down and the remainder payments will be broken down over three months of $208.  If you need a modification please let me know. Your baby will take 8 - 12 weeks  or less to complete. Progress pics will be sent for approval. I do not take custom orders often so please don't miss out on this opportunity. Anyone interested please contact me, first come first served. Again I only have two adoption offers at this time, due to my other projects that are in the works. I may be able to fill them before posting them on ebay. Here are some pics of my babies who were created my first year and a half of reborning from Bountiful Baby:

Thanks

Quick Peek at "Wai Ling" by Laura Tuzio Ross

Hello,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I am :0) I just wanted to share a quick pic of this stunning little girl. I have made some more changes since these pics, she is a little darker. She is in the rooting process in which she will have pretty luscious black curls! I always like to take progress photos throughout my painting process so it helps me to make any color corrections or anything else that needs tweaking. I shared these snapshots  few days ago with Laura and she loved her! I can't wait until she is finished, she is soooo pretty even without hair. Also, her wardrobe color is so pretty it will match nicely with her complexion :0) Well here is  snapshot of her. Hope you like her : 0)

Have a blessed day ;0)

Home Sweet Home :0)

Hi!

I am a little refreshed after taking a three hour nap from my travels. I had a great time at the DEDS Doll Show! I met many Dollfan members and some of my favorite sculptors and silicone doll creators in person like Bonnie Brown, Marita Winters, Lorna Miller Sands, Emily Jameson, Olivia Stone, Joanna Gomes, Julie Molloy, and Claire Taylor. Of course Laura Tuzio Ross I met up with again. I know I missed a few but my head was spinning with all of the beautiful creations around me. I have the silicone bug bad. I really want one now. My friends Chequita and Michelle both had a silicone baby which actually peaked my interest. I also had little glimpses of a silicone Huti baby "Finley" on Dollfan and was actually trying to find a vinyl kit. I found out from Claire at the show that there were never any vinyl Finley's and that she only made 5 silicone "Finleys". Very sweet and encouraging lady by the way. So bummed that I missed out on that little cutie, but guess what Tracy had hers at the show and was kind enough to let drool I mean hold hers.LOL. Claire also had her new silicone William who was absolutely stunning.

Some other great news! I won a few awards at the show and thank you all who voted for me!!! It was truly an honor because I truly was not expecting anything. I entered my Benji by Marita Winters. I am so happy that I attended the show :0) There are so many talented artists that were  there and also won awards. I was so happy just to be a part of it. I also met up with a few artist from PA or the Philadelphia area. I met a wonderful newbie Wendy, she is such a nice lady and can't wait to chat with her.

I also have a new found avenue I would like to try out, but I am not quite ready to disclose that yet. One other topic, my other prototype is on its way from over seas and I can't wait to see!! This is another one of my favorite sculptors as well! I was asked not to show any of the pics until she is ready to release her sculpts ,so I will not give any hints. Well here are a few shots from the show, I really did not have a lot of time to take pics!!!

My awards and trophies:

I will post a separate photo of my Benji!

Good Night :0)

I actually was about to start a "Melody" before I received Wai Ling. She is one precious little girl! I love her little lips, I hope to take her with me to the doll show (of course unfinished) but just to give everyone an eye full of what is to come :0) Here is my inspiration for my Wai Ling! Striking likeness of this beautiful little girl and superb work of Laura!!!

WIP Ethnic AA "Little Miss Sally" Prototype

Hey :0)

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! The weather is beautiful. Just wanted to share a few WIP pics of this little girl. Let me just say that Bonnie's sculpting is the "BOMB"! I am so in love with this little girl, down to her gorgeous little earlobes. I love babies who have distinct features and their own little characteristics which make them unique and beautiful. Bonnie has definitely captured the exquisite detailing in this little precious baby :0)Her complexion is a bronzed heavenly topaz with warm vermilion undertones which match beautifully with her pretty hazel eyes. She will have a head full of luxurious black ringlets. Please excuse my lighting its a little dark for her pics. She kind of resembles this little diva with the black hair bow, not in complexion more like her features. I think she is sooooo cute!  Please enjoy!

P.S. I have someone else to share in a separate blog entry!
Bye ;o)

Gorgeous Little Girl !

Hello!

I just wanted to share a picture of this gorgeous little girl. Her complexion is pure perfection. Her expression reminds me of Milaine by Evelina Wosnjuk or maybe Coco Malau by Elisa Marx. I really had not considered painting Milaine. If you can think of any other babies who have this expression I would love your suggestions :0) I have to create a likeness of this little stunner, she is absolutely gorgeous :0)

Later !

Not ready to say who yet, but just know they will be breathtaking, jaw dropping, stupendous, phenomenal........Awh shucks, you get the point, sometimes I get a little carried away :0)

These babies are sculpted by a few of my most beloved artists. I know I say that about all of them but I can't help it, I am so sprung!!!!! I also would like to thank all of the sculptors very much for allowing me to bestow my reborning creativity upon their masterpieces.
So please stay tuned.....

Pssst! Can you tell what my fav color combos are??

Hey !

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! A little chilly Memorial Day holiday, well at least the sun is out now :0) Lighting was awful yesterday with all the dreary rain. I still was able to take a few snaps of my little precious Pepper Ashtyn. I have given her a warm nutmeg complexion with lovely golden undertones. I like to experiment with my complexions. My favorite part of reborning is the painting process ;0)  Sometimes I may use a picture of a baby or just use my imagination!  Well I hope you enjoy my pics of this little sleeping beauty.

Peek a Boo at Pepper Ashtyn :0)

Hello
Just wanted to share a little sneek peek at this little sleeping beauty ! Can you guess what sculpt she is? I started her a while back, like almost a year and a half ago with her twin sculpt (he he) ! Well I still have some work to do on her. She will also travel to the doll show as well :0) I will post some updated pics of her later.....

Sweet Dreams............

Liam Wyatt is All Packed and ready to move to Norway!!!

Good Morning :0)

My little guy Liam Wyatt will be joining his new Mommy very soon! She has expressed to me how excited she is to hold him in her arms :0) Well he will be leaving, me so sad to see him go.... I love his little smile :0)
I know Wenche will take very good care of him!

Thank you so much
